<p>The generator comprises a sheet metal cylinder, with stamped out or attached vanes, supported via roller bearings from a rotary axis provided by a steel pipe. From one to four motors are arranged around this axis, with their drive cogs engaging a cog ring fitted around the inside of the cylinder, so that the motors are driven by the rotation of the cylinder due to the wind motion or the air stream when the current generator is attached to a moving object. The conversion ratio of the cog transmission is dependent on the rating of the motors with the current cables for the latter passed through the centre of the steel pipe. The generator can be used for an electric vehicle drive.</p> |
