Hydrostatic drive system with a pump adjustable by means of controlled pressure, a plurality of consuming units each being connectable to the feedline of the pump by means of a randomly actuatable switch element, an adjustable parallel circuit throttle being arranged in each branch line leading to a consuming unit, the adjusting element of which throttle being acted upon on one side by the pressure in the feedline and on the other side by a control pressure and a spring, the control pressure being equal on all parallel circuit throttles and that side of the parallel circuit throttle acted upon by the control pressure being connected by way of a non-return valve to a common control pressure line.
