<p>The load support e.g. a window cleaning cradle is suspended by cables from a jib arm (2) in such a way that it can be rotated relative to the jib arm. A rotary connection (8) is mounted between the lift mechanism (3) and the chassis (4) with the jib arm fixed firmly on the lift housing which is provided at its extreme point with a rotary mounted jib beam (5). The rotary connection can be electrically, hydraulically or manually operated allowing the cradle (1) to alter its position independently of the position of the jib and chassis thus allowing access to areas previously difficult to reach.</p> |
