PURPOSE:To obtain a laser working device without requiring any finish work by constituting so as to control the direction of a laser beam for irradiating an object to be worked, focused by a condensing optical system, and obtaining an optional cut surface shape. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam L outputted from a laser oscillator 15 is reflected 16 and is made incident to a transparent body 10 which is slantly held by a holder 8. The beam L is refracted in accordance with an incident angle to the transparent body 10 and its refractive index, is focused by a condensing lens 18, and is irradiated onto an object to be worked 6. Therefor, the beam L makes a part which has passed through an optical axis of the lens 18 go straight on, and makes a part which has passed through a place shifted from the optical axis focus toward the optical axis. Accordingly, as for a cut surface shape of the object to be worked 6, which is cut by the beam L, a part corresponding to the side to which the beam L has traveled straight is made a vertical surface 6a as shown in the figure, and a part corresponding to the side where it is focused to ward the optical axis is formed as an inclined surface 6b. |
