PURPOSE:To lessen the item number of parts, abridge the sealing process, reduce the production cost, and improve the transmission factor of light by employing a cylindrical luminous tube valve with a constant internal diameter throughout its length. CONSTITUTION:A base 2 is attached to one side of an outer tube 1. The interior of the outer tube is kept vacuum and accommodates a luminous tube 3. The luminous tube 3 is maintained at the center of the outer tube 1 by support wires 4, 5 and holders 6, 6, for both supporting and feeding electricity, and is connected to the base 2 electrically. The luminous valve of the luminous tube 3 is composed of a cylindrical pervious alumina ceramic tube with a constant internal diameter throughout its length, and both sides of the luminous valve are sealed by metal tubes 8, 8 made of niobium and tantalum.
