A process for producing a non-caking, free flowing and abrasion resistant granulate based on polymer phosphate and ion-exchanging alkali metal aluminum silicate, said polymer phosphate being a high-polymer phosphate or a mixture of highpolymer phosphate and sodium tripolyphosphate which comprises granulating a mixture of the component in a rotary tube or atomizing mixer by spraying with water. The granulates are useful as washing rinsing and cleansing agents and as a water softener.
