PURPOSE:To obtain high reproduced picture quality by improving curvature and undulation by providing a metallic film on an original disk which has a resist layer roughened for recording and by peeling the resist layer and metallic film from each other after backing the metallic film with a metallic substrate. CONSTITUTION:On a turntable 4, an optical disk having a positive resist layer on an optically polished glass substrate is fixed and while the turntable 4 is turned at a high speed, the disk is irradiated with radiation energy 5 to necessary guide groove width and then developed, thus obtaining an original disk 7 which has spiral uneven record 6. After a metallic film 8 of Cr, etc., is formed on this original disk 7, a surface treatment with a primer 9, etc., is performed and on it, a glass substrate or metallic substrate 10 is backed with an adhesive layer 11 in between. Then, the resist layer 2 and metallic film 8 are peeled from each other. Consequently, a master, a mother and a stamper for a sound disk or recording disk having excellent flatness and superior heat resistance and free of curvature and undulation are obtained. |
