PURPOSE:To simplify an individual electrode patterning process at a head manufacturing time and to improve yield, by a method wherein, in a heat sensitive recording head, the number of individual electrodes connected to a heating resistor is 1 piece, and an electrical connection to the heating resistor is performed by means of a slide electrode. CONSTITUTION:One end of a heating resistor 1, formed after a glaze 7 is formed on a substrate 6, is connected to a common electrode 4 and covered with a protection film 8, but the other end is exposed 5. A slide electrode slides over the exposed part 5 and the resistor is electrically connected at an arbitrary position. This causes heating of the resistor at an arbitrary position to record on a heat sensitive paper. |
