PURPOSE:To permit one-touch identification of corner block length by projecting and graduating the corner block gradients corresponding to two kinds of flat gradients on the respective faces of a square material having four faces. CONSTITUTION:A scale bar 1 has four faces 1a-1d. Two kinds of scales 1a1, 1a2 are engraved on the face 1a along its both side edges. The scale 1a1 is projected and graduated with the corner block gradient corresponding to a flat gradient of, for example, 2.5sun (the Japanese inch, 1sun=about 1.19 inches), and similarly, the scale 1a2 is the corner block gradient corresponding to a flat gradient of 3sun. Thereafter, the scales 1b1, 1b2 projected with the corner block gradients corresponding to flat gradients of, for example, 3.5sun and 4sun are similarly graduated respectively on the face 1b as well. The scales 1c1, 1c2 of the corner block gradients corresponding to flat gradients of, for example, 4.5sun and 5sun are provided on the face 1c, and the scales 1d1, 1d2 of the corner block gradients corresponding to flat gradients of, for example, 5.5sun and 6sun to the face 1d, thus total 8 kinds of the scales are engraved. |
