1526295 Reducing CO-emission in the regeneration of fluidised cracking catalysts TEXACO DEVELOPMENT CORP 5 Dec 1975 [23 Dec 1974] 49955/75 Heading B1E In the regeneration of a coked fluidized cracking catalyst the catalyst is fed into a dense fluidized catalyst phase in a regenerator maintained at 1275-1355‹F with a residence time of 3-10 min., fluidizing the dense phase and burning off the coke with a flow of regeneration gas sufficient to maintain a 1-10mol% O 2 excess in the flue gas and simultaneously adjusting said temperature and O 2 excess to control the afterburn so that the dilute phase which is in direct communication with the dense phase is maintained at 1375-1455‹F without extraneous cooling.
|
