PURPOSE:To obtain colored monochromatic photographic paper of sharp contrast by adding an extremely small amt. of a black and white developing main agent to a color developing main agent, and controlling the ratio of silver and a dye produced by developing treatment to control the final images without performing bleaching treatment. CONSTITUTION:A black and white developing main agent (hydroquinone) is added to a developing soln. contg. 8g a color developing main agent in 1l water, by suitably controlling the amt. of addition within <=2-0.05g/l range. Photographic paper coated with a color in emulsion and printed with an ordinary monochromatic photographic negative film is developed with such developing soln. After developing for about 2min at 30 deg.C, it is rinsed, fixed, rinsed and dried, whereby the coexistence images of a dye and silver are obtained without bleaching process. At the printing, it is also possible to change the color tendency of the final images by controlling the color of printing light by using a color correcting filter to an enlarger. |
