PURPOSE:To correct audio PCM data effectively, by using error correction information of video PCM data. CONSTITUTION:An analog video signal from an input terminal is applied to a PCM code converter 3 via an A/D converter 2, an error correction detecting code ED is added to video data Dv every block and inputted to an audio data addition circuit 6. On the other hand, an audio signal from a terminal 11 is A/D- converted 12 and parity is added 13 and the signal with interleaving 14 is added and recorded to the circuit 6. At playback, the output signal of a reproducing processor 22 is applied to an error correction decoder and the audio data is corrected by using the video data in the range of parity correction. |
