PURPOSE:To prepare the titled composition exhibiting high fungicidal activity even after long-term storage, by compounding 1-(n-butylcarbamoyl)benzimidazol- 2-ylcarbamic acid methyl ester with tetrachloroisophthalonitrile and a specific metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) 1- (n-butylcarbamoyl)benzimidazol-2-ylcarbamic acid methyl ester (benomyl) with (B) tetrachloroisophthalonitrile and (C) a compound of formula MxOy (M is Ca, Ba, Al, Si, B, or Zn; x is 1 or 2; y is 1-3). The amounts of the components (B) and (C) are 0.5-10 and 0.01-10pts.wt. per 1pt.wt. of the component (A). It is prepared to powder, wettable powder, etc. by adding a conventional adjuvant for agricultural and horticultural use, e.g. diluent, surface-active agent, spreader, etc. The component (C) is pref. CaO, BaO, Al2O3, SiO2, etc. |
