PURPOSE:To obtain the titled cold rolling oil, having excellent lubricity even by using a large-diameter work roll, capable of preventing occurrence of heat scratch and providing products having excellent surface gloss, by adding a specific amount of an organosulfur compound to a base oil, e.g. mineral oil, etc. CONSTITUTION:The aimed cold rolling oil obtained by adding (B) an organosulfur compound having >=3 sulfur atoms as -S-S-S-... bonds in one molecule in an amount of 0.5-5% expressed in terms of sulfur and, if necessary, (C) 0.1-5% salt of a cationic or amphoteric high polymer as an emulsifying and dispersing agent to (A) a base oil consisting of one or more of natural fats or oils, synthetic ester and mineral oil. Furthermore, dinonyl trisulfide, didoceyl tetrasulfide, dibenzyl pentasulfide, etc., are cited as examples of the component (B). |
