PURPOSE:To decrease an accumulated error in case of joining together, by detecting an editing tone on a reproducing VTR tape, reading a tape address of a recording VTR, halting an editing operation by a specific value, correcting program searching, and after that, executing the reediting. CONSTITUTION:A control part 10 which has received an editing tone signal (g) of a reproducing tape discriminates an effective digit (digit of time.second) or an ineffective digit (digit of frame) from in a running tape address signal (m) of recording VTR, and discriminates that the ineffective digit is within a constant value. In case when it is within a constant value, a reproducing output is connected to a VTR8 by a switching device 7, and in case when it has exceeded the constant value, recording is halted, and program searching is controlled at an end position of an effective digit of the address signal (m) or at an end position of the effective digit by adding or subtracting the constant value to or from the address signal (m). An accumulated time error in case of joining together plural materials is removed by constituting so that the reproducing start control is executed after program searching has been completed, and it is switched to a recording mode after a constant interval of time has passed. |
