The technique proposed comprises a device and a method, jointly intended to provide for the preservation and/or transformation of various objects, allowing the intervention at any time on the properties of those objects, according to reliable, optional and non exclusive modes, and essentially characterized in that the objects (8) are reversably fixed to an adhesive support (1) and subjected to a pad (5) applied against them, those two means cooperating to maintain them under appropriate conditions. The objects concerned may be biological, mineral or fabricated objects. The fields of application are research, pedagogy, tests, production, distribution, standardization and control.
