<p>The air-to-water heat pump is for central heating with water radiators and a boiler. It has a refrigeration circuit with an evaporator, compressor, condenser and expander for a refrigerating medium such as fluoro-carbon, also a pre-heater for the evaporator. The heating system has an auxiliary heater raising the water temperature at the heat pump outlet to a point suitable for the radiators. The evaporator pre-heater has a heat exchanger in parallel with the radiator circuit. The inlet to this circuit can have a servo-operated valve.</p> |
