The water enters the channel (4) via transversely located overflow apertures (5) in the upstream area of the channel. A ring-shaped dividing wall (6) in the shower head has the radial inlet in the lower section, and the overflow apertures in the upper section. The channel extends concentrically from the outside of the dividing wall.
