PURPOSE:To prepare printing data for a price row in a simple work by shifting price data to the lowest significant digit automatically in a buffer storage operating a control key, writing a symbol ''>'' in the digits in the upper significant digit that becomes vacant and by positively reading with a machine. CONSTITUTION:An input printing data is written in a specified address of RAM9 and, at the same time, displayed on a display device 10. Then contents of the printing data to be written in the price row of a division for totalizing 4 are input from a keyboard 8. This printing data is made up of 7-digit data of a-g so that it may be read by a machine, and first, ''Yen'' mark is written in a specified location corresponding to the cursor location of the display device 10 by a function key out of full keys 8a. Then, price digits, for instantce, 360 is input and as the cursor moves b,c-g digits, shifted to the lowest significant digit, and in the upper significant digit that become vacant, ''>'' symbols are written. |
