The double-woven blanket is divided into double regions sepd. by open or double regions forming parallel channels which house the heating resistances. Along each edge two complementary channels at right angles to the heating channels extend from end to end of the blanket, interconnected by cross-channels, of different width, at least partially aligned with the main channels. The cross-channels are formed between closed woven regions which serve as insulators between the heating formed between closed woven regions which serve as insulators between the heating wire loops in one complementary channel and the return conductor in the other. The heating resistances are easily and quickly inserted into the main channels accessible through the end openings of the aligned cross-channels. For a double blanket the wiring may be in two unconnected circuits.
