PURPOSE:To repeat a DTMF signal surely, by separating the DTMF signal from a voice path and generating the DTMF signal again after decoding it by a DTMF decoder and by transmitting the DTMF signal from a pushphone line. CONSTITUTION:A DTMF signal decoding part 8 and a DTMF signal generating part 9 are connected to the side of a telephone set B and the side of a telephone set C of a coupling part 7 of a repeating installation 1 respectively. When a DTMF signal is transmitted from a telephone set A under this state, the decoding part 8 decodes what signal this is, and the decoded signal is sent to the generating part 9, and the generating part 9 generates the same DTMF signal again and transmits it from the telephone set C in a prescribed level. A central office 3 recognizes the DTMF signal, which is generated by the generating part 9, as a signal generated by the telephone set C and accepts it along predetermined procedures and sets or changes the storage of abbreviated dialing. When the telephone set A is a pushphone, the push button is depressed to transmit the DTMF signal from the line of the telephone set C. |
