PURPOSE:To realize inexpensive constitution which simplifies a movable-head driving mechanism, by transmitting the output light of an optical modulator to a movable head through an optical fiber cable which has high output stability. CONSTITUTION:A movable head 14 moves in the axial direction of a drum 10 according to the turning direction of a worm gear 16. Optical fiber cables 20 and 22 are fixed to this movable head 14, and light beams outputted from the end surfaces of those cables are made incident to apertures 24 and 26 in the movable head 14 to form their images on a film surface around the drum 10 through optical systems 28 and 30. For those optical fiber cables 20 and 22, not an optical communication type, but a bundle type which has low response sensitivity to external mechanical vibration and inflectional deformation and extremely high output stability is used, transmitting a light signal from a light signal generation unit 32 without any influence of noises. |
