PURPOSE:To economize power to enhance the efficiency, by switching the earth potential in the secondary side of a driving transformer of a horizontal deflecting circuit to a negative potential only for the turn-on operation of a drive circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a drive transistor TRQ1 is turned off, a voltage shown in figure (a) is applied to the collector of the drive TRQ1 in a time A, and a switch SW1 of a circuit 4 is connected to the earth side, and the voltage in the time A is applied to the base of a horizontal output TRQ3 to flow a small current shown in the time A of figure (c). When the TRQ1 is turned on, the switch SW1 of the circuit 4 is connected to the side of -B, and a voltage shown in a time B of figure (b) is applied to the base of the TRQ3 to flow the same current as the time B of figure (c). By this operation, a high-efficiency horizontal deflecting circuit is obtained where the drive current is small and an charge emission time Ts is short. |
