PURPOSE:To reduce an interference area between a movable die and a gripper, by shifting the lower-dead-point arrival time of a link press and that of a crank press from each other when operating the link press and crank press synchronously. CONSTITUTION:When the lower dead point of the slide of a link press and that of a crank press are coincident with each other, the interference curve of the release direction of a gripper and that of the gripping direction are curves 9b and 9a respectively, and when they are shifted from each other, the interference curves are curves 12a and 12b. Consequently, when the lower dead points are shifted from each other, a safety area is expanded as shown by slanting lines 20 in the release direction. In the upward movement, feed and downward movement directions of the gripper, the interference curve between the gripper and a press top force is a curve 15 when the lower dead points are coincident or a curve 16 when shifted, narrowing down the interference area as shown by slanting lines 21. |
