PURPOSE:To take out a restored image easily and quickly by receiving compressed data required to restore images sequentially, reproducing one image sequentially from the compressed data and storing the data of the restored image in a storage device at the reception side sequentially. CONSTITUTION:The quantity of compressed data required to restore one image is obtained and the data quantity of one packet in receiving the compressed data is decided to obtain the received packet number. The compressed data of the packet number is received by a reception memory 3, the image is restored from the received compressed data and the data of restored images 4a-4c is stored in the storage device 2. Fractional data Q1-Q3 other than one restored image among the received compression data are moved to the head address of the reception memory 3 and the reception of the compressed data of the packet number required for the next picture reproduction is received in the reception memory from the memory address next to the moved fractional data Q1-Q3 repetitively for the number of the received image. Thus, in receiving the compressed data, the restored image is taken out easily. |
