DISPLAY DEVICE OF SEQUENCE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To facilitate the detection of a faulty area as well as the easy maintenance and inspection with reduction of the time required for the detection plus the maintenance and inspection, by displaying the on/off information of an element plus the conductive and nonconductive parts of a circuit on a sequence circuit diagram. CONSTITUTION:A sequence instruction which is read out of a storage part 11 through an operation board 1 is displayed in the form of an equivalent sequence circuit diagram. Such dispaly device includes a signal selecting means that selects and extracts the element information designated by the sequence instruction, a display means that displays the element information seletcted by the said signal selecting means and a display means that performs a hot-line display of the area which is electrically conductive within a sequence circuit in the form of a series of flows of electric signals based on the above-mentioned element in formation and at the same time performs nonhotline display of the nonconductive area. For instance, a circuit shown in the diagram is used to perform such a display as shown in the diagram on the screen of a CRT10.
