In the case of a motor vehicle window-lifting drive, in order, on the one hand, to manufacture in a simple manner the motor housing (3) of the electric motor which is coupled to a drive, and despite this to be able to fit this motor housing (3) simply and securely, from an installation point of view, with its one end face (31) onto a flange-type bearing surface (41) of a drive housing (4), in accordance with a new feature it is proposed that the motor housing (3) consists of a rolled stamped-bent part, and is provided with at least two stamped, slot-shaped openings (33, 34), distributed around its circumference, in the vicinity of its one end face (31), into which openings (33, 34) sheet-metal straps (5, 6) can be inserted, in each case with their one end (51, 61), and, with their other end (52, 62), protruding essentially radially from the slot-shaped openings (33, 34), can be screwed (screws 7, 8) into the drive housing (4) in the sense of providing an axial clamping of the motor housing (3) against the bearing surface (41) of the drive housing (4).
