PURPOSE:To realize the loading and starting of a program without carrying out any special operation when the vector address is changed owing to a change of the program, by storing both the address of the transfer destination and vector address of the program on a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape includes not only a storage block 21 for a program to be executed but a storage block 23 for the vector address including a label block 22 for storage of the discrimination code, the address of the transfer destination and the execution start address. An ROM region 32 which forms an initial program loader 6 is provided to the storage device of each processor 3 of a multiple microcomputer system. The magnetic tape is discriminated by the loader 6 and with use of the discrimination code of the block 22, and the program to be executed is loaded into an RAM region 31 based on the address of the transfer destination of the block 23. At the same time, the vector address is loaded into an RAM region 33. After this, the program is started at and after the execution starting address which is included in the vector address. |
