1344046 Sliding clasp fasteners YOSHIDA KOGYO KK 14 June 1972 [17 June 1971 (2)] 27835/72 Heading E2S A sliding clasp fastener having a multiplicity of successive or continuous interengaging elements 10 Fig. 1, has stringer tapes 11 each provided with longitudinally extending alternate ridges 13 and grooves 14 which interlock with corresponding ridges 13' and grooves 14', Fig. 2, formed in one of the arms 15 of each element 10 of the fastener. A recess 16 is formed in each of the arms 15' to receive sewing thread 17 which secures the elements 10 to the tape 11. Ridges 13 and grooves 14 may be provided in both faces of the tape 11, Fig. 8 (not shown). |
