The invention relates to a wrist-watch strap made of leather or the like, whose strap parts consist of an upper leather part and a lining, which forms the inner surface of the strap during use thereof, said upper leather part and lining being bonded or welded to one another, the side surfaces of the lining, which is essentially rectangular in cross-section, being covered by the upper leather part and being bonded or welded to parts of the upper leather part which are bent away. A visually attractive wrist-watch strap, which is hard-wearing in the loop region, is obtained if, in the buckle and/or loop bar region of the strap parts, preferably in the region between the loop bending point and the end of the strap, extended edge regions of the upper leather part are bent away over the side surfaces beyond the inner edge of the lining and are folded over onto the inside of the strap formed by the lining, and if these folded-over edge regions of the upper leather part are bonded or welded to the inner surface of the lining, preferably under pressure.
