The calibration unit is for a dynamic material testing machine. It consists of an electrical power recorder. The material being tested is placed with its axis vertically on a platform. It is prevented from shifting sideways. The frame contains a bottom plate (1) and a top plate (2). There are two vertical guide bars (3) with a force measuring strap (4) on the base. There is a screw spindle (14) in a spindle housing (15) on the cover plate. The pressure bar (10) is conveyed downwards by turning the spindle and exerting a pressure onto the test material.
