PURPOSE:To expedite and facilitate random access and to make it possible to perform a large quantity of copying by forming a rectangular shape of the recording member. CONSTITUTION:A material in which recording can be performed by a high density energy beam is formed as a film on a rectangular supporting body by vacuum evopration method, sputtering method, and the like, and a recording layer is formed. If necessary, and organic or inorganic material is fomed as a film on said recording layer in the same method, and a protecting layer is formed. Thus a recording sheet is obtained. Then said sheet is cut into the desired small rectangular areas. In this method, the effective recording density per recording member is improved, autmatic production in large quantity is facilitated, and the yield rate is improved. |
