<p>The panel is intended for insulating walls, floors, ceilings, partitions etc. against heat loss, noise and moisture. It consists of corrugated cardboard which is paper-sealed on both sides and has a loosely compressed mineral wool blanket glued to one side. At least one edge of the cardboard is shaped to form an integral sectional element, e.g. a T-section, which can be used for securing the panel to a structure or to a similar panel. The paper and cardboard are pref. impregnated with a fire-retardant inorganic phosphate soln. An Al foil or similar moisture barrier layer may be sandwiched between cardboard and mineral wool.</p> |
