PURPOSE:To record a correct infomation picture by generating a record starting signal at a given position of a body to be recorded counting a scanning starting signal in a generation circuit of character signals output each time the body to be recorded moves by a given value. CONSTITUTION:Output signals f of a generator are counted with a train counter 16 of a character signal generation circuit 9 and the output thereof is compared with a set value of a digital setting device 17 according to a conveying speed of a body to be recorded means of a digital comparator 18. When both values coincide, it outputs a scanning starting signal S while resetting the counter 16 to restart the counting. On the other hand, signals into which a detection signal P1 of a detector for the body to be recorded and a record starting signal P2 of a discrimination counter 20 are inverted with an inverter 23 and the signal S are inputted into a 3 input AND circuit 21 of a record starting signal generation means 15 while a signal into which the signal P1 is inverted with an inverter 24 and the signal S are input into a 2 input AND circuit 22 and the outputs g1 and g2 are provided to reset the counter 20. When the counter 20 reaches a specified counted value, the record starting signal P2 is outputted. |
