An attached hinge, which is especially suitable for integrally moulded suitcases, has two hinge plates (1, 2), each mounted on a part to be pivoted, with two parallel hinge axes (A, B) offset by an offset (V) on opposite sides of the plane of each hinge plate. The hinge plates (1, 2) are connected by means of bridge members (3, 4) which, via hinge lugs formed directly on them, are held on the joint axes (A, B) in an articulated manner. The arrangement is such that, when the hinge is in the extended state, the hinge plates (1, 2) and the bridge members (3, 4) lie approximately in a common plane, the offset (V) ensuring that the planes passing through the two joint axes (A, B) belonging to each bridge member intersect in all the pivoting states, including the extended state. <IMAGE>
