<p>PURPOSE:To avoid idle time and to improve printing speed by starting heat driving of a printing head before the printing head stops at the position of the next digit, and giving the command for the movement starting of the printing head to succeeding digit before said heating driving is finished. CONSTITUTION:The movement of the printing head 1 to the next digit is performed by a pulse motor 2. A control circuit 6 generates a timing signal S15 at a specified time before a printing head heating command signal is finished. A first forward rotating pulse MFP1 is generated before the disappearance of a heating signal HT. There is time delay before the printing head 1 starts moving. Aftet the printing, the printing head 1 starts moving quickly. Since the delay in the start of the head movement is overlapped on the period of the heating command signal HT and the delay time in the fall of the heating temperature, the idle time is substantially removed.</p> |
