<p>Thin-walled lining material, for use as covering doors, boots and engine compartments of motor vehicles, is made of a fibrous base material, impregnated with a bonding medium, and moulded to shape by applying heat and pressure. Base material consists of synthetic fibres with a min. of water absorption, e.g. a mixt. of 50% polyester and 50% acrylics, at a rate of 400-440 g per sq. m. area and per mm final thickness. Bonding medium is an unsatd. polyester resin, applied at a rate of 400 g sq. m. and mm. This material has a good stability of shape, elasticity and restoring force and is little affected by moisture.</p> |
