PURPOSE:To obtain a phase comparison output with a broad range, by taking a saw-tooth wave signal in synchronizing with a reference pulse and different in the phase by pi as a reference signal. CONSTITUTION:A saw-tooth wave signal Sr in synchronizing with a reference pulse Pr and a saw-tooth wave signal Sd phase-shifted with the Sr by pi are formed. Further, a signal Sp shifting a DC level from the Sd positively by 1/2 is formed and also a signal Sn shifting the DC level from the Sd negatively by 1/2 is formed. The level is timewise continuous for the period of slope of the Sr. The level is timewise continuous for the period of slope of the Sr and Sn also. The range of phase is at 720 deg. to the Sr for the both periods altogether. The compared output can be obtained over a wide range by switching the Sr, Sp and Sn in accordance with the level of an input signal Pc. |
