The invention relates to a cover element for glazing. According to the invention, this cover element has a film made from an insulating plastic and an adhesive tape to which this insulating film is applied in such a manner that the circumferential region of the film covers at least a significant part of the surface of the tape. The surface of the adhesive tape to which the insulating film is applied directly is provided with a crosslinked adhesive, and the opposite surface, which is applied directly to the frame of the glazing, is covered by an uncrosslinked substance.
