PURPOSE:To make it possible to place picture elements nearer the center of an indicating section by stacking two liquid crystal indicators that have each 30 picture elements at their inner and outer circumferences and forming an analog indicating sections that have each 60 picture elements at the inner and outer circumferences. CONSTITUTION:Two liquid crystal indicators, each having 30 picture elements placed radially at the inner and the outer circumference are stacked, so that the picture elements of both indicators are placed alternately. By this arrangement both indicators make up an indicating section that has 60 picture elements at its inner and outer circumferences. Since, with this indicating section, the number of wirings is small in the central portion, the picture elements can be placed nearer the center and they resemble the shape of a hand in the hand-type watch. |
