PURPOSE:To enable driver of automobile to select and set desired warning speed in speed warning device for automobile. CONSTITUTION:A rotation sensor produces a signal of a frequency proportional to the rotation speed of wheel, i.e. the running speed, of an automobile. This speed signal is converted by a frequency-voltage converter 2 into a D.C. voltage which in turn is delivered to a comparator circuit 5 with a set value set in a voltage setting circuit 4. A warning device 6 is activated as the set value is reached. A warning speed selection switch 3 and a speed display circuit 7 are installed on the instrument panel in front of the driver's seat. The arrangement is such that the driver can select and set desired level of speed at which the warning is made, by means of the selection switch 3. The selected speed is put on display on the display circuit 7. |
