<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for the recording and reproduction of signals, particularly video signals, on a magnetic tape disposed in a cassette on spools lying concentrically one above the other, and which is adapted to be laid, in two loops moving in opposite directions towards one another, against the periphery of a slit head drum, in which at least one magnetic head rotates, by means of a tape extraction device having a pair of grippers engaging behind the magnetic tape. The grippers are disposed in different planes at least in their end position in which the magnetic tape passes helically and over an angle of at least 360.degree. around the head drum, which is adjusted obliquely in relation to the plane of the apparatus, that the upper gripper, which is in the form of a tape guide body and is disposed at a greater distance from the chassis plate, has a guide edge for the upper edge of the tape, and the lower gripper, which is likewise in the form of a tape guide body, has a guide edge for the bottom edge of the tape. The vertical height of each gripper is slightly greater than the width of the magnetic tape and in the end position the upper gripper is supported by its lower face on the upper face of the lower gripper, and that the horizontal length of the tape guide bodies formed by the grippers holds at a distance from the periphery of the head drum the tape loops guided towards and away from the head drum by means of the grippers.</p> |
