PURPOSE:To manage the excavation direction and the position of an excavator stable for a long time by calculating an excavation angle with respect to a laser beam, comparing it with a planned value and controlling the excavation direction and the position of the excavator based on the results. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 5 with a flux diameter larger at least than the diameter of a through hole 12 is irradiated on a photoelectric element block 9 from a laser emitting section 4. With the action of a servo tracking mechanism, the laser beam 5 is captured centered on the target 8 to calculate the position of an excavator. With this operation, the laser beam 5 is irradiated on a reflection plate 11 passing through the through hole 12 and irradiated on the photoelectric element block 10 with a reflection. The course of the laser beam 5 is bent at a specified angle and a distance is measured by a triangular survey from a displacement at the irradiation point based on the bending thereof. |
