PURPOSE:To satisfy the characteristics as a switching power source and to facilitate fabrication by changing the width of the gap part at the left leg from that at the right leg of a single magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:A closed magnetic path is constituted by making an I core 1 and an E core 2 of a ferrite core face to each other. The magnetic core gap 5 Is provided at the facing part between one side lege 3 of the E core 2 and I core 1, and the magnetic core gap 6, whose thickness is shorter than that at the side leg part 3, is provided at the facing part of the other side leg 4. A coil 7 is provided at the central leg. When a DC flows in said coil 7, magnetic flux flows in the side leg 4 having a small magnetic resistance. When the leg 4 is saturated, the magnetic flux also flows in the side leg 3, and a constant inductance inductance value is kept until the leg 3 is saturated. |
