PURPOSE:To record at a high speed by use of usual paper, by executing read scanning of an original by a solid sensor, modulating an output of a laser beam by said scanning, and scanning the surface of a recording body which has been magnetized in advance. CONSTITUTION:A reflected ray from a part to be illuminated SL of an original 0 carried in the direction as indicated with an arrow A is made to form an image in the photodetecting area of a solid sensor 2, and is converted to an electric signal of a consecutive time series. This signal is applied to a semiconductor laser 5, a laser beam is modulated, and the modulated laser beam is focused on the surface of a magentic recording body 8 by the mirror surface of a rotary polyhedral mirror 7. Since the surface of the magnetic recording body 8 is magnetized in advance by a magnetizer 9, only the part against which a focusing spot of the laser beam has hit is demagnetized, by which a magnetic latent image corresponding to the original image is formed on the surface of the magnetic recording body 8. This magnetic latent image is developed by a developing device 10, and is transferred on a recording sheet 11. |
