PURPOSE:To obtain a gas meter capable of automatically thawing the freezing of a valve and a valve sheet by providing a spring on a cam lever having a cam face to separate the valve and the valve sheet. CONSTITUTION:A valve sheet 1 is provided with a center hole 4 communicating to a feed tube 3 and circumferential holes 6 and 6' alternately communicating to a suction tube 5 on the gas suction side and the center hole 4 and a valve 2 is piled thereon with a hollow 8 alternately communicating the circumferential holes 6 and 6' and the center hole 4 through a suction hole 7. The valve 2 is pivoted with a drive arm provided on a shaft 11 of a crank 10 interlocking measuring membranes 9 and 9' and a shaft 14 thereof 2 and rotates engaging the cam lever having the cam face 15. The cam lever 13 is limited with the spring 16 and the stopper 17. With such an arrangement, the cam lever 13 turns with a rotating force of the crank 10 and a force works to lift the valve 2 with the cam face 15 thereby thawing possible freezing of the valve sheet 1 and the valve 2. |
