PURPOSE:To obtain a novel oily composition for lubrication use, by dispersing fluorinated graphite particles stably in a lubrication oil using a dispersing agent containing propylene oxide group. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricating oil composition is prepared by dispersing fluorinated graphite particles in a lubrication oil at a concentration of about 0.05-50wt% by the use of a dispersing agent having one or more propylene oxide groups and having an HLB value of pref. 4--30 (determined by Davis method) [pref. examples: the compound of formulaIand formula II (R1 and R2 are alkyl, alkylphenyl or acyl; m and n are >=5)]. The fluorinated graphite has particle diameter of usually 0.02-10mu, and pref. has a sharp particle size distribution. The lubrication oil is a mineral oil, a synthetic oil or an animal or vegetable oil having a viscosity of pref. 5-3,000CP at room temperature. |
