PURPOSE:To economize recording papers, by recording a paper through cut recording for a skip part at a reception side, with a dummy code transmitted to the reception side after a mark operation at a transmission side. CONSTITUTION:An original is read at a photoelectric converter 11 and a skip deciding section 12 makes decision if skip is made, and in parallel with the above operations, a picture signal transmitted from the section 11 to a encoding section 15 is encoded. When decision is made as a part requiring skip, interruption is given to the encoding section 15 and a dummy code transmission section 14 to transmit a dummy code. No paper feed and recording operation is performed at a reception side by the dummy code. Thus, recording is made at the reception section by skipping skipped parts. |
