<p>PURPOSE:To achieve excellent transmission and recording of a color TV video signal with a simple method, by obtaining a digital signal so that the difference between a sample value before sampling and a present sample value can be quantized. CONSTITUTION:A digital signal outputted from an A/D converter ADC is given to a register RG and a subtractor SUB. This register RG consists of N sets of cascade-connected registers RG1...RGN which can store the digital signal for one sample's share, and each register latches the digital signal with a latch pulse having a repetitive frequency Nfsc N-times a chrominance subscarrier frequency fsc. Thus, an output signal of the register RG is equal to the digital signal before N samples of an output signal of the converter ADC. This digital signal is given to the subtractor SUB to output the difference between th digital signal from the subtractor SUB to the converter ADC and the output digital signal of the register RG.</p> |
