PURPOSE:To reduce the number of picture information communication times and shorten the time from the line connection to the picture information transmission start, by storing picture information data in a RAM temporarily and by reading out and transmitting stored picture information to lines of destination in the order to acquisition. CONSTITUTION:When the operator sets an original to a facsimile main body 10 to start the transmission, the picture information data write request is given to a broadcast system control unit MSCU, and the unit MSCU writes picture data, which is sent from a data compressing and reproducing device DCR, in a RAM-P in accordance with this request. The unit SMCU calls n-number designated destination stations successively and stores the code of calling in a status table ST of a RAM in the unit MSCU. When the response from the destination station is received, an interruption is caused, and the unit MSCU refers to the status table ST to discriminate contents of the interruption and reads out picture information byte by byte from the RAM-P and transmits it to lines in the order of acquisition through parallel-serial converters PSC1-PSCn, MODEMs, and network control units MCU1-MCUn, and the code of the transmission end is written in the status table ST each time the transmission for one destination station is terminated. |
